GC Speed Slam – Sum up Your Research!
Audience Registration
180 seconds – this is the time given to doctoral researchers to present their research at the GC Speed Slam on June 5, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Leopoldstraße 30.
The GraduateCenterLMU hosts this extra fast science slam, where doctoral candidates from all departments get to the heart of their research, while the seconds race by. This requires them to be extremely concise about their topic and research question. At the same time, they have to make it as catchy as possible to be able to reach out to an audience of non-experts in their field.
Everyone is welcome to act as jury at the end of this racing competition. Vote for the most convincing speed slam that evening. Be part of it and register now!
Call for Participation
The GraduateCenterLMU invites doctoral researchers from all LMU departments to sum up their research in an extra fast science slam on June 5, 2024. The GC Speed Slam challenges you to get to the heart of your doctoral research – and offers you the unique chance to reach out to an audience beyond your research community. Present your doctoral research in just 180 seconds and one single PowerPoint slide. Do not forget to make it as catchy as possible. Should you be one of two lucky winners of our competition, you will be sent to participate in an international competition at the University of Porto in September 2024, one of LMU's EUGLOH partners.
